About Me

My photo
Clara-Emily McKay
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
My name is Clara-Emily McKay,I'm undertaking my final year of a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Fine Arts) at the University of Ballarat. Throughout my practice I have explored mediums including photography, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, hand-crafts, performance and written word in order to facilitate the construction of a dialogue concerning perception of selves and self-segregation; whilst simultaneously intending to convey works pertaining to the feminine, notions of ‘love’ within modernity and the preservation of memories. Here I intend to show my practice, development and product, whilst acknowledging all of those tiny, seemingly insignificant occurrences that inevitably influence the latter. Enjoy! xx
